From Pollutec 2025 to Order: WeiForm Pro 4000 for a French Plastic Fabricator
After meeting Weissenberg at Pollutec 2025 in France, a French industrial
plastic fabricator continued evaluating our thermoplastic sheet fabrication equipment after
the exhibition. Approximately one month later, the customer confirmed an order for the
WeiForm Pro 4000,
a 4-meter integrated machine combining plastic sheet butt welding, bending and rolling.
The project was driven by three practical requirements:
CE compliance for the European market, multi-process fabrication capability, and reliable handling of medium-thickness thermoplastic sheet.

From Pollutec 2025 to a Confirmed Equipment Order
The first contact took place at Pollutec 2025, where the French customer visited
the Weissenberg booth to discuss plastic fabrication equipment and learn more about the available
machine configurations.
The purchase was not made at the exhibition itself. After returning from Pollutec, the customer
continued its internal evaluation and reviewed how an integrated sheet fabrication machine could
fit its own production requirements. Approximately one month later, the company contacted
Weissenberg again and confirmed the WeiForm Pro 4000 order.
Pollutec 2025→Technical Evaluation→Configuration Confirmation→Order→Factory Testing→Shipment to France
This sequence is important because the value of an industrial exhibition is not simply the
first conversation. For this project, the face-to-face meeting created the starting point;
the final decision followed a separate technical and commercial evaluation after the show.
What the French Fabricator Needed
The customer works in industrial plastic fabrication and required more than a conventional
flat-sheet butt welder. The selected equipment needed to support several fabrication processes
in one system while meeting European compliance requirements.
CE Compliance
The machine had to meet the customer's European-market compliance requirement, with
the relevant CE documentation provided before delivery.
Integrated Fabrication
The project called for welding, bending and rolling capability rather than a machine
dedicated to only one sheet-processing operation.
Industrial Sheet Capacity
The machine needed sufficient working width and thickness capacity for medium-thickness
thermoplastic sheet fabrication.

Why the WeiForm Pro 4000 Matched the Project
4-Meter Working Width
With a maximum working width of 4,000 mm, the WeiForm Pro 4000 gives a
fabrication workshop room to process large thermoplastic sheets while remaining within a
practical machine size for industrial production.
Welding, Bending and Rolling in One Machine
The main reason this configuration matched the customer's requirement was its
3-in-1 fabrication architecture.
The machine supports:
• Plastic sheet butt welding for flat-sheet joining;
• Adjustable sheet bending from 5° to 95°;
• Roll bending for curved thermoplastic sections.
The benefit is fabrication flexibility: one platform can support different sheet-processing
tasks without requiring every operation to be assigned to a separate machine.
Capacity Matched to the Selected Configuration
The WeiForm Pro 4000 is specified for
3–30 mm welding thickness,
up to 30 mm rolling thickness,
and 3–20 mm bending thickness.
Its bending angle is adjustable from 5° to 95°.
For buyers comparing different machine sizes, these parameters matter because working width
alone does not define whether a machine fits the job. Welding thickness, bending capacity,
rolling requirement and the geometry of the parts all need to be considered together.
How the Machine Configuration Answered the Requirement
Project Requirement
WeiForm Pro 4000 Configuration
Large-format thermoplastic sheet processing
4,000 mm maximum working width
Flat sheet joining
3–30 mm butt welding capability
Angled fabrication
3–20 mm bending capacity, adjustable from 5° to 95°
Curved thermoplastic sections
Integrated roll bending, up to 30 mm
Multiple fabrication operations
Welding, bending and rolling on one platform
European market requirement
CE-certified machine with documentation supplied before delivery
Thermoplastic fabrication
Machine designed for PE, PP, PVDF and other supported materials
Compliance was part of the equipment decision from the beginning. For this French project,
the WeiForm Pro 4000 was supplied with the required
CE documentation before delivery.
The machine's welding process is also designed to support procedures based on the applicable
DVS 2207 requirements.
CE documentation and welding procedure requirements serve different purposes, so they should
be considered separately when specifying equipment for a European fabrication workshop.
Factory Testing Before Shipment to France
Before dispatch, the machine underwent factory testing and operation videos were shared with
the customer for review. The project was completed under a relatively tight production schedule,
but the testing process was completed before shipment.
Following the pre-shipment review, the customer expressed satisfaction with the machine's
design, build quality and overall performance during testing.
The completed WeiForm Pro 4000 prepared for shipment to France.
Project Result
The project moved from an initial Pollutec conversation to a confirmed order in approximately
one month, followed by production, factory testing and shipment to France.
The final configuration gave the customer a
4-meter thermoplastic sheet fabrication system combining butt welding, bending and rolling,
together with the CE documentation required for the project.
For other plastic fabrication workshops, the main lesson from this project is that machine
selection should start with the complete production requirement—not just one headline
specification. Working width, sheet thickness, bending angle, rolling capability, material
type and compliance requirements all affect which configuration is the right fit.
